I'd need a scanner of small size to be able to take it when I travel. At the same time, I wanted a scanner of good quality. The fujitsu scanner meets my expectations and I can only recommend its purchase. I also purchased the caddy that offers Fujitsu to protect the scanner... and this is a huge plus because it is a fragile object that it is preferable to protect. But, if you have a box in thick cardboard or plastic the same size, this may well be suitable. The key is to protect it when you travel. I want to add that I have been able to test the guarantee Fujitsu in the past... which is excellent. I bought by amazon a product to Fujitsu, which is found to be defective after 4 months. I contacted Fujitsu about this (I had exceeded the 30 days to return the product to amazon), without too much hope. However, my request has been taken very seriously by Fujitsu and the defective item was replaced within 48 hours by a new article. I was the first surprise of the speed with which my article has been replaced. If the scanning is fast, scanning is much slower but of good quality. I have not yet tested the camera mode.
